Don Lockwood: Male to play 30’s-early 40’s. G – F#, Baritone: Famous movie star, romantic lead, charismatic and charming, outstanding tap dancer, strong singer.
Cosmo Brown: Male to play 30’s to 40’s. C – G, Bari-tenor: Don’s best friend, high-energy comedic sidekick, outstanding tap dancer, acrobatic skills and/or ability to play piano would be a plus.
Kathy Selden: Female to play 20-25. Mezzo: Classic ingénue, Don’s love interest, sweet but spunky, excellent tap dancer, strong singer.
Roscoe Dexter: Male to play 35-50. The high-strung director of Monumental pictures, great comedic timing.
R.F. Simpson: Male to play 40-60. The older big time studio executive and producer with Monumental Pictures, think Louis B. Mayer.
Dora Bailey / Miss. Dinsmore: Female to play 30-50. Red carpet commentator, Lina’s dialect coach. Strong comedic actress with flair, must sing.
Male Diction Teacher: Male to play 35-60. Character actor with great comedic timing, must sing, will also double as policeman and in ensemble.
Young Don: Male to play 10-13. Child actor to play young Don Lockwood, must sing and dance extremely well.
Young Cosmo: Male to play 10-13. Child actor to play young Cosmo Brown, must sing and dance extremely well.
Production Tenor: Male age 20-40. (D – Bb) Soloist in “Beautiful Girl”, also doubles in ensemble. Some dance experience a plus!
Ensemble: Males and Females to play ages 20-60, ensemble will double as butlers, party guests, Zelda Zanders, Olga Mara, production people etc. The ensemble must dance and move extremely well.

Two (2 ) Equity contracts will be considered for the roles of Don Lockwood and Cosmo Brown.
