ACRO/TUMBLING WORKSHOP WITH

CARRIE KINSEY (ages 8-11 and 12 & up)

Acro and Tumbling became the fastest growing, most popular new addition to our curriculum this year. Due to popular demand, Norris Performing Arts Education is pleased to offer a four-day intensive workshop with Carrie Kinsey! This workshop is great for students of all skill levels.

Monday - Thursday, August 5 - 8, 2013

                        Ages 8-11: 1:00-3:00 PM each day

             Ages 12 & up: 10:00 AM - NOON each day

DANCE AUDITION WORKSHOP WITH

JOEL SLUYTER (ages 8-11 and 12& up)

Want to know what it takes to be cast as our Norris ambassadors - in the Norris Performing Groups?  Joel Sluyter, choreographer for our most advanced group, First Class Act, is offering this intensive as preparation for the auditions on August 26th and 27th, or for any dancers who just want to learn from our favorite Hip-Hop hero!  Last year's cast can polish their skills, interested auditioners can learn from the best, and those just looking to show off their fierce talents can join us for the fun!

ANYTHING GOES TAP WORKSHOP WITH

CHOREOGRAPHER CHRIS ALBRECHT

(ages 8 & up)

Planning on auditioning for our fall musical, ANYTHING GOES?  Here is your chance to work with the choreographer before auditions, get to know the style of dance for this show, and brush up those tap dance skills!  Even absolute beginners are encouraged to enroll in the tap workshop.  (Note: participation in this class does not guarantee casting in the production...but it will help you to do your best at the audition!)

Friday and Saturday, August 23 and 24, 2013

                           Beginner Level: 3:00-5:00 PM each day

                Intermediate/Advanced: 6:00-8:00 PM each day
