3 Play Series

Since 2004, the Norris Center’s 3 Play Series has created an avenue through which the Norris can produce its own professional plays and musicals. Through the generous support of patrons, donors, and sponsors, the Norris fully funds the series and oversees all aspects of the producing process. This includes the hiring of directors and technical crew, casting of actors and the custom designing and building of original sets.

Through the produced plays, the Norris can offer longer engagements and more opportunities for theatre-goers to attend professional plays close to home, at affordable prices. If you would like to get involved, ask about our Honorary Producers Club. Call (310) 544-0403, ext. 265.

This classic comedy, considered to be Neil Simon’s best work, opens as a group of guys assemble for cards in the New York apartment of divorced Oscar Madison, a slovenly sports writer. Late to arrive is the fastidious, depressed, and uptight Felix Unger, who has just been separated from his wife. As the action unfolds, the two become roommates, and Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind as the men attempt to adapt to each other’s idiosyncrasies, all the while trying to rekindle their social lives with side-splitting results! Recommended for ages 13+.
