Following in the footsteps of The Marvelous Wonderettes, the Norris Theatre makes another memory-lane premiere. It’s a non-stop cavalcade of musical memories from the 1940’s. Mistaken identities, madcap comedy, and the greatest musical treasures fill this sweet and hilarious show. Three soldiers find themselves giving the performance of a lifetime when a certain trio of singing sister siblings fail to arrive at their USO gig. “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “On A Slow Boat To China,” “Shoo Shoo Baby,” and “Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree” are song favorites in this valentine to World War II heroes. The Andrews Brothers is complete with slapstick comedy, old-fashioned romance, and nostalgic music. Recommended for all ages.
