Outreach
The Negri Learning Center began an Outreach program in the summer of 2004, inviting selected children’s groups to watch a special performance of the summer productions at a greatly reduced cost. Thirteen shows and over 5,200 students later, audiences have included foster youth, family shelters, special education groups, and schoolchildren from the South Bay to South Central. For more information, contact Nancy Nassimbene at (310) 544-0403, ext. 256, or email.
Children
Everyone, including infants on a lap, must have a ticket to be seated, regardless of age. Children 0-12 years old will be ticketed with the lowest price available for that performance. Performances (except Kids Series) are not recommended for children under the age of 6.
Special Accommodations
There is no elevator access at the Norris Theatre. The staff will make every effort to meet special needs of our patrons. Wheelchair seating is available on both sides of the orchestra section on the main level. If you require special accommodations, please call the Box Office at least 48 hours prior to the performance.
Deaf and hearing-impaired patrons may reach the Box Office through the California RELAY Service by calling 1-800-735-2922. The Theatre is also equipped with a Hearing Enhancement Assistance System, with headsets available on request.
Exchange Policy
The Norris Center for the Performing Arts does not offer refunds. However, we will gladly exchange your tickets pending availability and upon receipt of the tickets to the box office at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled performance.
If you are a subscriber, we can exchange your tickets to another performance within your series subscription. We ask that you limit your exchanges to twice within a given season to allow for the best availability possible for all of our patrons. For exchanges outside of your series, the subscriber pays the difference in ticket price but no per ticket exchange fee. There is no charge for exchanges to another performance within the given series.
For our individual ticket holders, there is a $5 per ticket exchange fee in addition to any difference in ticket price.
Can’t Use Your Tickets?
Can’t make the performance? You can donate your tickets* back to the Norris and we’ll make them available for another arts patron to enjoy. We’ll also provide a tax-deductible receipt for your tax records in the form of a letter acknowledging your generous donation to the Norris. Simply return your tickets to the box office at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled performance and ask that we send you a receipt via the US Postal Service. If you cannot return the tickets before the 48-hour cutoff, they will still be accepted, but you will only get tax credit if the tickets are resold to another patron.
*Norris Produced and Presents shows only. Does not apply to non-Norris events.
